While government funding continues to fall short of actual costs, the need is only growing. Ark Encounter features a full-size Noah’s Ark, built according to the dimensions given in the Bible. Spanning 510 feet long, 85 feet wide, and 51 feet high, this modern engineering marvel amazes visitors young and old. For 70 years, Paralyzed Veterans of America has been on a mission to change lives and build brighter futures for our seriously injured heroes—to empower these brave men and women with what they need to achieve the things they fought for: freedom and independence.

We have families friends whose son and daughter are the same ages as our children and they grew up together. Their son had cystic fibrosis and died at age in 2015 at age 24. It was devastating for all. We know the struggle that this family had, and can never underestimate the pain of their loss. My son was Top Gun and he was Goose as they shared their last Halloween dress up in October 2015. We continue to grieve this loss.
